Introducing the Hornby Rare R474 R475 Hornby RN 4120/5714 LMS Stannier Composite Coach 1st 3rd Maroon – a collectible item for all model railway enthusiasts. This is an extremely rare and hard to find piece, manufactured only once in 1945. It has been kept in extremely good condition and displays only minor signs of ageing.
The design of this coach is based closely on original photographs of The London, Midland & Scottish Railway’s Stannier Composite Coach No 5714 from around 1945. It features fine detailing of wooden panelling, doors with lettering, interior seating detail etched into the plastic roofs moulded between the passenger compartments as well as gold leaf on its maroon livery. These superbly crafted details provide realism and authenticity that will make this the perfect addition to any model railway layout or collection.
This item also includes two brake trusses for further accuracy to enhance its classic look and feel of a bygone era. An ideal pick up for those inclined towards vintage items or looking to add something extra special into their home train display!
